Plico and Neighbours Update

#1 Alla fine sono dovuta andare al Consolato per prendermi la copia del "plico elettorale". E si sono pure incazzati: "Eh, signorina, ma noi l'abbiamo spedito all'indirizzo giusto, eh, qui è colpa sua". Che odio quando mi chiamano "signorina".

#2 We're keeping the cops busy in this building. The Community Police came two days ago, this time to check on the slightly crazy Jamaican lady who lives two flats down from us. Yes, the one who put up the sign for Jeovah's Witnesses asking them to leave her alone ("When I am ready, Jeovah will send you back to me"). The neighbour from the flat above hers called the Police to tell them that apparently she'd been "chanting and screaming all night". They actually beat the door down to talk to her. Sounds like she's a little crazier than just friendly-crazy. And she's a woman of Jeovah's herself, enough said. But I'm not sure why they are allowed to kick the door in and break into the crazy Jeovah's witness' flat, while they can't do anything but knocking on the door of the drug dealer's to see if she's in - and if she is, they can arrest her, if not, tough luck.
